Realizing later that day that the operating room in the hospital was always air conditioned, he decided that he was throwing in the hat on construction and set the goal of becoming a pediatric surgeon. It’s pretty spectacular that one of the top successful pediatrician surgeons made the decision to pursue the medical field as a result of a hot summer’s day in Kuwait.
